Do we need a runnable test configuration to test out more of the infrastructure, such as https://github.com/ACCESS-NRI/model-config-tests?
In the first instance this could be a payu configuration.
payu has a test model driver that could be used for this purpose. It requires very little and we could provide a shell script test.exe that runs and produces some deterministic output.
