Hey,
are you sure about the BT connection? In your previous issue you said that you were using the small official dongle.
BT-connected controllers usually report no or only garbage levels for their battery state, so they rarely trigger a proper warning.
Also, which "popup" do you mean? The old "toast" (Windows notification) or the newer fancy one with the X logo (that's only present in the 1.4 "preview")?

If it's the toast, since it's declared to the system as an alarm/important notification it stays active until the user interacts with it. The only way to change that would be to change the notification type to something less "urgent", but that could lead to Windows suppressing the notification while fullscreen programs (like games) are running.

In 1.4 you can disable the toast and only use the new popup and/or audio notifications. Just be aware that the new popup can't be shown in certain scenarios, especially if your game runs in DirectX 11 mode and fullscreen. (Borderless) windowed mode or any mode in DX9 and DX12 aren't affected.

My bad, I'm indeed using official dongle. I've not noticed inaccuracies in reported battery level (it seems coherent with data found in Xbox Accessories app). If I suspect an accuracy problem, I'll switch to BT.

Oh thanks, never paid attention to this. I was using default "toast". I will try the popup and report. I often use borderless windowed mode so it should be fine.
