Bug: Persona 3 Reload Xbox controller not detected when launching through Reloaded-II (Linux)

English isn't my first language, so please excuse me if I didn't explain myself clearly.

Describe the Bug
The game fails to recognize Xbox controller input when launched via Reloaded-II. This issue occurs even though the controller was working perfectly with the same setup previously. When the game is launched directly through Steam (without Reloaded-II), the controller is detected and functions as expected.

Additional Context

• Direct Launch Test: Verified that the controller works fine when launching the game via Steam. The issue only persists when using the Reloaded-II injector.
• Controller Type: Xbox Controller.
• Recent Changes: No major system changes were made; it simply stopped being recognized by the launcher from one day to the next.
• Environment: Running on a Linux-based system using Proton/Wine.

I'm guessing Steam injects its own Steam Input when ran via Steam; as well as the overlay, i.e. GameOverlayUI and everything else.

Use the ASI Loader launch method. Should do the trick.

I reinstalled Reloaded and all the mods, but nothing changed.
I checked the guide you mentioned about ASI Loader and followed all the steps, but the game won't open anymore. Steam says the game is running, but no window opens.

Have you tried a machine restart? Maybe that'd do it.

Yes, I've already completely restarted the computer and updated everything that needed updating. I also tried other controllers I have and all the USB ports, but the game still doesn't detect the controller.
I think I'll just uninstall Reloaded and play without the mods.
