Request to add set point date/time stamps in distro_migration log

Currently the timestamps in the distro migration log are limited.
I would like to request a start/stop timestamp entry as well as timestamps along the way at different points.
This would be so that while troubleshooting migration errors, we can check the timestamps along the process and have a better idea if or where there was a failure.
