It would be nice if the migration / upgrade process either always puts a timestamp to the distro_migration.log or takes care that there isn't one or rotates the old one if needed.
I know if all goes well there shouldn't be one existing.
But when it fails once and you correct things to get it working or even if it fails again all new output is added to the existing file again which at one point can get very hard to see where we are currently at and to find the relevant information from the latest iteration.
