Cannot see the landing page or login page

Dear Team
First of all I would like to appreciate the great piece of work you have put together. I was just evaluating your system and followed your readme to download and install the web application on my local amp stack everything went fine but once i tried to browse the application i only see the blank page. Please help me out as i really want to try this app for my personal projects.

Hoping to get a response asap.

Alright, a few things to check:

• Do you have mcrypt installed and enabled in PHP 7?
• Did you generate a key (php artisan key:generate)?
• Did you migrate the database (php artisan migrate)?
• What AMP stack are you using?

Yes mcrypt is installed and enabled in PHP7
No i did not generate a key
yes i did migrate the database
I am using the mac and have default apache, upgraded PHP, and Separately installed MySql
