I have noticed that many python scripts have enhanced logging, but the lines are almost all commented out. I have enabled some of these for troubleshooting, but of course, they get overwritten with every upgrade.
What would be helpful is that the GUI config has a setting for enhanced logging (perhaps more than 1 level?) that would automatically enable these commented out additional logging lines in various python scripts.
This way enhanced logging can be turned on temporarily for troubleshooting without having to edit the python scripts directly.
