The idea is that some menus might benefit from a user facing None option: Instead of implicit skip (not opening a menu) or having to clear a field (CTRL + C): User can simply pick None when desired.
Menus that would need this option:
GreeterGraphics driverNetwork configurationBootloader
Other sections such as Audio, Swap, NTP already allow for this.
