Order of slider images can not be set manually

I have a client who wants the images in a slider to appear in a very specific order, but this is not currently possible. In fact, the behavior is explicitly set to do the opposite, by returning the images in random order.
Is there a widget pattern that could be used to drag and drop items in a specific order?

The current widget already keeps order so I think you can just remove the random part from the view.

Hi, having the same problem. the slider template gets its banners from view/random_banner. why would that be randomized, if the JS has that option too ? and i don't see any way to get not randomized banners into a slider.
