Regarding #1, no backends can work suitably as of now... Apart from a transonic parsing issue of numpy.fft subpackage (https://foss.heptapod.net/fluiddyn/transonic/issues/32):
- pythran: misses complex
fft and ifft support. Changing to real FFT - which is wrong makes it run without throwing any errors (b8e0e84) which should not have happened - numba and cython detects the size of arrays mismatch. (not reproducible)
- numba: cannot deal with
from numpy import * imports. Pythran can handle it though!
- cython: throws a strange error:
