Subject: BOKRLv2 Commercial Revenue and IP Protection
1. The Separation of Substrate and Synthesis (IP Protection) Let us be absolutely clear: The Boredbrains Consortium makes zero claim of ownership over the Intellectual Property you generate using our systems. Whether you use PolyMorphOS and the Chimera architectures to write a best-selling novel, discover a new pharmaceutical compound, or build a high-frequency trading algorithm—the end product (The Synthesis) belongs entirely to you. You are licensing the cognitive engine (The Substrate).
2. The Commercial Fee Structure If you deploy the MICT Framework, PolyMorphOS, or our AI Architectures for revenue-generating purposes, you are bound by the BOKRLv2 commercial fee structure:
- Pre-Commercial (Funded R&D): A 5% fee on any grants, venture capital, or funding received specifically to develop products utilizing the framework.
- Commercial (Revenue Generation): A 10% fee on gross revenue derived directly from products or services that rely on the framework to operate.
3. The Opt-Out / Air-Gap Provision We recognize that certain defense, medical, and proprietary enterprise deployments cannot share functional logic back to the community under the Open Knowledge Return obligation. Organizations may Opt-Out of the Knowledge Return requirement and operate the OS in a completely air-gapped environment. Opting out requires a separate, bespoke Enterprise Licensing Agreement with the Boredbrains Consortium. Note: Opting out disqualifies the organization from receiving community-generated neural advancements or earning royalties via the MICT Blockchain.
