Fast, Flexible, and Backed by Great Support

What I like most about Manticore is its speed, the responsiveness of the support team in chat, and the flexibility it gives for customization.

The main feature we were missing has already been implemented by the Manticore team as part of a custom development request — that was great!
For now, the only things I’d still like to see are native support for abbreviations (we currently handle it with some workarounds using percolate) and the ability to keep stop words in specific phrases. We had that feature in our previous custom-built engine, and it’s something we really miss.

There are also a couple of points related to our paid customization that we’ll handle step by step, and it would be great to have a detailed tutorial on creating UDFs.

Overall, everything is excellent so far — keep up the great work!

We discovered Manticore when we decided to move from our in-house engine to an open-source one. We tested several options and ended up choosing Manticore. A nearby project uses Elasticsearch, but they seem to have a lot more headaches with it — though maybe that’s more about their developers :)
