[Regression] Impossible to share a file towards Nextcloud app latest version

Steps to reproduce

1. Go in thé File app of iOS
2. Share any file with Nextcloud app
3. Impossible to select a directory where to put the shared fil

Expected behaviour

I should be able to select a directory and validate to share the file.

Actual behaviour

The Nextcloud app seems to be opened in normal mode rather than share mode. So no button to validate the directory choice

Reasoning or why should it be changed/implemented?

Get back to previous behavior (normal share behavior for any iOS app)

Environment data

iOS version: 26.5

Nextcloud iOS app version: 33.0.9.1

Server operating system: Docker image (standalone)

Web server: nginx

Database: PostgreSQL 16.14

PHP version: 8.4.21

Nextcloud version: 33.0.3

I seem to be seeing the same thing. Open an app, e.g. a medical data app. Hit Export. Select Nextcloud. I get the normal Nextcloud app, with an option in the upper left corner to return to the previous app. I can navigate the directory tree. However, I see no way to save the file being exported. I tried several apps; same thing.

Definitely a regression.

On my side reproduced with CoMaps and the File app (not tested with others yet)

I did find a work-around. At the very top of Files, under Locations you should see Nextcloud. (I found it there; I did nothing to put it there. You may not see it.)

Now, find the file you want to copy from Files to Nextcloud. Start at On My Phone and go from there. Long press the file name. At the top of the pop-up menu, press Move. (Copy does not appear to work.) Navigate to where you want it. Hit Copy in the upper right.

It is not working if you have a code to unlock the Nextcloud app. Otherwise it could be a workaround 🙏
