I'm Justin. I am a student. In my spare time, I build and maintain a number of open source projects, developer resources, and public repositories. The main ones right now are jal-co/ui (https://ui.justinlevine.me) and shieldcn (https://shieldcn.dev) Mostly I just build the things I keep needing across projects and share them. Code blocks, diff viewers, cron schedules, activity graphs, testimonial cards — the kind of stuff that's somehow always slightly off in existing libraries, so you end up building it yourself anyway. I figured I'd build them properly once and let everyone use them.

Some of it is polished libraries, some is reference implementations, some is just things I built for myself and figured someone else might find useful. Everything is free and that's not changing. I'm not going to paywall components or gate features behind a sponsorship tier. That's not the point.

But if something I shipped saved you an afternoon, or you just like that this stuff exists in the open, sponsoring is a nice way to say so. It helps me justify spending real time on it instead of treating it like a side-of-desk thing. The more time I can reasonably put into this, the more of it ends up public.
