Threadbaire is an open methodology for keeping AI memory portable and under user control. It uses plain markdown files, a Core carrying a project's identity and rules, an Addendum logging every decision with dated receipts, and a Working Set for current tasks. The files work with any model and no platform stores anything.

The method, templates, and a companion spec called RundownAPI are all published on GitHub under CC BY-SA. There is no business model, and the thesis argues why this matters.
