MediaLibrary.search() results being cached?

Hi, I was playing around with v3 alpha and couldn't get the MediaLibrary.search() (or chrome.webview.hostObjects.foo_uie_webview.searchLibrary(query) for that matter) to work. The results seemed to be unrelated and cached.
