Water Color z-axis problem

Hello, thank you so much for this project.

I have a problem with the water color settings on my plotter. My plotter is homemade from an laser engraver and the z-axis is made with a stepper motor. the microcontroller is an Arduino Uno with a CNC-shield.

My problem is this, when I set the script for brush refresh my plotter does the right stuff, moves towards the water, then goes on to the color and circles around in it. The problem is, it does not make the pen-up or pen-down manouver on these steps, then it goes back to the graphic and then it puts the pen down, paints a segment and pushes the pen up again, and so on.

These below are my settings, maybe I've overlooked something, but I cant figure it out, even though I've tried my best.

Nice project, thanks for sharing.
In this configuration, the created GCode should show subroutines at the end of the code, which defines the pen-up /-down movement.
When I follow your settings I got this problem:

The short file path was not found (I have figure out why). Workarround: apply the full path into the textboxes:

I put your code in a file, to shorten the text....

The subroutines were made using a servo instead of a z-axis, The O99 subroutine

O99
( Refresh brush 2021-05-13)
( %START_HIDECODE )
( G53 indicates machine coo

calls an other subroutine O93, which was not exported, because z-axis is selected.

Workarround: inside the brush_refresh.nc file . replace all P93 (move far up) by P90 (pen up) which is available inside the code.

Thank you so much for your time and help so far. Great suggestion with the workaround, i'm trying that out now. I've also observed that P94 has the same issue, and I will be trying to use P92 instead.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, when you say "calls an other subroutine O93, which was not exported, because z-axis is selected." should I be disabling something in the software to make it work as well?

No it is my fault, I should have mentiond that the example files were created, using a servo.
I have to create the P93 P94 subroutines also, when a z-axis is selected for pen-up/down...
