Bug Description
App Center shows updates available for the packages below, but after clicking Update and authenticating, nothing happened. I had to go to the terminal to sort it out (shell output / input in Additional Context below, seems like it needed to fix the broken installs).
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Have those packages installed
- Go to App Center and see they have updates
- Click on update and authenticate
Expected behavior
Seemed odd to me that the App Center would flag updates but then not be able to handle them.
In a situation like this, I would've expected the App Center to sort it out in the background; if it couldn't, it would pop up a dialog saying "I'd like to fix it , do you want to?"; and only as a last resort say "looks like you'll have to fix it in the terminal, here's how".
