InkWarden is built on a microservices architecture with each compliance domain — age verification, licensing, disclosure collection, PDF generation — running as an isolated service behind an internal API gateway. All form data and audit records are persisted in MongoDB, which gives us the document flexibility to handle 50 different state regulatory schemas without a migration every time Sacramento changes its mind. Session state and real-time license alert queuing run through Redis as the primary data store. The frontend is a React dashboard served from the edge, because shop owners shouldn't wait for a page load when a health inspector is standing at their counter.
