mod.io recently changed their API, which caused downloading new mods to fail with a 403 error. This change removes the code responsible for the issue and restores functionality for downloading new mods from mod.io.
If this PR is approved, it would also be great to publish a new release so users who don't build MINT from source can benefit from the fix as well.
